About the show: This Tony Award-nominated, hilarious, roller skating, musical adventure about following your dreams despite the limitations others set for you, rolls along to the original hit score composed by pop-rock legends, Jeff Lynne and John Farrar. Based on the Universal Pictures cult classic movie of the same title, which starred Olivia Newton-John and Gene Kelly, Xanadu is hilarity on wheels for adults, children and anyone who has ever wanted to feel inspired.
Xanadu follows the journey of a magical and beautiful Greek muse, Kira, who descends from the heavens of Mount Olympus to Venice Beach, California in 1980 on a quest to inspire a struggling artist, Sonny, to achieve the greatest artistic creation of all time – the first ROLLER DISCO! (Hey, it's 1980!) But, when Kira falls into forbidden love with the mortal Sonny, her jealous sisters take advantage of the situation, and chaos abounds.
Xanadu is a moving, electrifying tale of endless fun that will keep audiences in stitches while the original legendary, chart-topping tunes lift them out of their seats. You'll want to keep the music in your head and Xanadu in your heart... forever. Please note: This show may include PG-13 material. Book by Douglas Carter Beane; Music and Lyrics by Jeff Lynne & John Farrar; Based on the Universal Pictures film; Screenplay by Richard Danus & Marc Rubel. Xanadu is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI). All authorized performance materials are also supplied by MTI.
About the program: OFC’s teen camps feature a range of students who are bound for Broadway, enjoy performing for fun, and are first timers. OFC welcomes all teens to continue or begin their theatre journey in our teen program. Typically, the teen productions tackle a full Broadway or off-Broadway-length show, not a reduced version, with a script and score designed for adults and professionals. Auditions will be held on the first day, but all registered teens for the program will receive a part (or parts) in the show with our “no cut” policy (unless otherwise noted). While no previous experience is required, many students have been performing since they were in diapers. Directors are ready to meet all students at their respective experience level and feature their skill sets appropriately, no matter how long they have been performing. The experience should be fun and enjoyable for all participants, with a focus on putting on the best show possible. Please note that teen shows may contain PG-13 content in the material provided by the licensing company. We advise campers and their families to research the show prior to enrollment.
OFC’s before-care and after-care program is available for this camp.

But when the Evil Queen finds a way to get into the real world, the fairy tale characters must work together to protect their last chance of a happy ending. This is a one-hour straight play, not a musical. Written by Ashley Griffin. Produced by special arrangement with Plays for New Audiences.
About the program: OFC’s kid camp shows are typically 60-minutes in length and include full cast opportunities and areas to feature lead and supporting characters. Auditions are held on the first day, with materials taught by the instructors; all students who register will be in the show with our “no cut” policy. Directors are ready to meet all students at their respective experience level and feature their skill sets appropriately, no matter how long they have been performing. About the show: Be careful what you wish for, as Stephen Sondheim’s and James Lapine’s cockeyed fairytale comes to life in this adaptation of their groundbreaking, Tony Award-winning musical. Into the Woods JR. features all of your favorite characters — Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Jack (and his beanstalk) and the Witch — in this lyrically rich retelling of classic Brothers Grimm fables.
The musical centers on a baker and his wife, who wish to have a child; Cinderella, who wishes to attend the King's festival; and Jack, who wishes his cow would give milk. When the baker and his wife learn that they cannot have a child because of a witch's curse, the two set off on a journey to break the curse, and wind up changed forever. Music and Lyrics by Stephen Sondheim; Book by James Lapine. Into the Woods Jr is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI). All authorized performance materials are also supplied by MTI.

As Elle begins outsmarting her peers, she realizes that law may be her natural calling after all. About the program: What’s your favorite mystical creature? Bring it to life on stage in this magical camp! This camp is perfect for your first theatre experience! Focusing on skills in acting, singing, and dance — instructors will lead campers in learning a short 12–15-minute full stage production. Campers will be introduced to costumes, sets, props, and more all while having fun onstage! Each camper is guaranteed a role in the show. Perfect for kids coming out of their shell or for those ready to take center stage and hit their spotlight! Camp is centered around public speaking, confidence building, and having fun. Oftentimes, the students will assist the instructor with writing the script for their short show – focusing on the beginning, middle, and end of the story, as well as which characters will have each line. Each student is guaranteed a role in the show with our “no cut” policy, and auditions are worked into their class material, rather than official auditions that could make little ones nervous.
OFC’s before-care program is available for this camp.
