Additional Opportunities

There is so much more than just being on stage! OFC offers a range of extra summer opportunities above and beyond taking part in camp. Each week, OFC offers a post-camp workshop exploring new performing arts skills, like Auditioning, Stage Combat, Improv, Vocal Technique, Circus Arts, and more. In the evenings and weekends, OFC hosts unique opportunities for families and campers to come together at local restaurants, Red Wing games, and more. Join in on the action and discover the magic that goes into performing arts!

Audition Preparation
Instructors: Hadley Strelau
$25 per student
Shake off those audition nerves and let’s get confident! This workshop focuses on every element of your performance from walking into the room, introductions, song delivery, and more! We will focus on performance delivery not only from the vocal perspective, but as a musical theatre triple threat. Instructors will bring example songs that could be used in a summer camp audition. Review the “dos” and “donts” of auditioning while having a blast at the same time! Students will perform while receiving positive and constructive feedback from the instructor and class. No need to prepare anything in advance, the structure will be very similar to how auditions will be run for OFC’s summer camps.

Break out into your musical theatre style with our Broadway themed dance workshops! Each session students will explore a new Broadway musical with original choreography or similar dance moves to the show. Students of all experience levels are welcomed to move and groove with us!

March with OFC in the Rochester Pride Parade!

No cost to participate!
A large part of our mission at OFC Creations is to embrace and encourage diversity in our students & performers, their families & our staff. Rochester’s Pride Parade is back in full swing with over 200 groups already signed up to participate and OFC is elated to be back for another year with our big purple truck in tow! We welcome all participants to walk with us – students, staff members, their families and adult performers alike!

Event Date: Saturday, July 15, 2023

Event Time: We estimate arrival/Decorating starts at 11:30 AM, Parade begins at 1:00 PM, ending at roughly 2:30 PM

Event Address: Line up for parade participants is on Alexander Street (between East Avenue and Monroe Avenue).

*Closer to the date of the event, we will be given a specific line up number and will communicate that to all participants
