Summer Workshops & Experiences

Get ready for us to ROC your summer experience!

Additional Opportunities

There is so much more than just being on stage! OFC offers a range of extra summer opportunities above and beyond taking part in camp. Each week, OFC offers a post-camp workshop exploring new performing arts skills, like Auditioning, Stage Combat, Improv, Vocal Technique, Circus Arts, and more. In the evenings and weekends, OFC hosts unique opportunities for families and campers to come together at local restaurants, Red Wing games, and more. Join in on the action and discover the magic that goes into performing arts!

As our Pint-Sized Performers move into the next age group, we’ll get them prepared for all the exciting changes that come with being an Elementary School Performer.
Through interactive games, exercises, and role-playing, we’ll cover:
🎤Longer Rehearsals & Focus Time – Get ready for extended rehearsals that teach patience and concentration. Your child will learn how to stay focused and stay excited for their next big moment on stage!
🎬 Backstage Etiquette – What’s the best way to stay quiet, respectful, and ready for action behind the scenes? Your child will master the dos and don’ts of backstage behavior.
💃 Challenging Choreography – We’ll help them prepare for tougher dances and teach them how to pick up choreography faster.
🎭 Theatre Lingo & Blocking – From “stage left” to “break a leg,” we’ll dive into theatre lingo and learn all about the magic of stage terminology.

👥 Meet the Theatre Team – Who’s who in the world of theatre? They’ll learn about directors, vocal directors, choreographers, and what each person does to make the show shine!

🎶 How to Practice at Home – We’ll share tips and tricks for memorizing songs, dances, and scenes, so your child can continue practicing their performance skills at home!

🎭 Exploring Roles – What type of parts can they expect to play? From leads to supporting roles to ensemble, your child will get a sneak peek into the wide variety of characters they may get to portray!

This workshop is the perfect way for young stars to have fun, make new friends, and get ready for their next big theatrical adventure!
