Charles Schulz’s beloved comic comes to life in Clark Gesner’s classic musical, You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown. The whole gang is here: bossy Lucy is hopelessly in love with piano prodigy Schroeder who doesn’t give her the time of day, perfectionist Sally is still mocking blanket-toting Linus, Snoopy is in the doghouse, and “blockhead,” himself, Charlie Brown, is in rare form. Brief vignettes span the months from Valentine’s Day to Beethoven Day, from wild optimism to utter despair. The sweet, joyful innocence of the Peanuts gang is maintained, but a fresh insouciance and playfulness is revealed. Whether you’re keen to fly with the Red Baron, moon over the Moonlight Sonata, or just do your best to find “Happiness,” You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown is a crowd-pleasing classic for teens performers to reflect on their youth.

OFC’s teen intensive program (or Pre-Professional Program) is geared towards students considering a future career in the performing arts. This camps is an “intensive” where the show is auditioned, rehearsed, and performed in a short time period. These are full Broadway or off-Broadway length shows with difficult material, and oftentimes are shows with smaller casts with a limited or no ensemble. Those auditioning and registering for Pre-Professional Teen programs should be prepared to commit themselves to a rigorous rehearsal process with the expectation of work being done at home and outside of the rehearsal room.  Directors of the Pre-Professional Teen programs assume those participating want to be performing professionally after high school and will be pushed accordingly, to their fullest potential. Directors hope to bring a glimpse into the professional rehearsal process to prepare students for college, community, and NYC/LA mirrored opportunities. Rehearsals are adjusted based on the needs of the show. By dress rehearsals, costumes, set pieces, and props will be added to enhance the production which will be open and advertised to the public. It is encouraged that all participants not only have previous theatre experience but are also striving towards performing professionally as a career.

Heathers The Musical is the darkly delicious story of Veronica Sawyer, a brainy, beautiful teenage misfit who hustles her way into the most powerful and ruthless clique at Westerberg High: the Heathers. But before she can get comfortable atop the high school food chain, Veronica falls in love with the dangerously attractive new kid J.D. When Heather Chandler, the Almighty, kicks her out of the group, Veronica decides to bite the bullet and kiss Heather’s aerobicized butt...but J.D. has another plan for that bullet. Heathers The Musical is a hilarious, heartfelt, and homicidal new show based on the greatest teen comedy of all time. Are you in, or are you out?

OFC’s teen camps feature a range of students who are bound for Broadway, enjoy performing for fun, and are first timers. OFC welcomes all teens to continue or begin their theatre journey in our teen program. Typically, the teen productions tackle a full Broadway or off-Broadway-length show, not a reduced version, with a script and score designed for adults and professionals. Auditions will be held on the first day, but all registered teens for the program will receive a part (or parts) in the show with our “no cut” policy (unless otherwise noted). While no previous experience is required, many students have been performing since they were in diapers. Directors are ready to meet all students at their respective experience level and feature their skill sets appropriately, no matter how long they have been performing. The experience should be fun and enjoyable for all participants, with a focus on putting on the best show possible.

*This show includes PG-13 content. We advise you to research this show further before signing up.

The Addams Family, a comical feast that embraces the wackiness in every family, features an original story and it’s every father’s nightmare: Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family–a man her parents have never met. And if that wasn’t upsetting enough, Wednesday confides in her father and begs him not to tell her mother. Now, Gomez Addams must do something he’s never done before–keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia. Everything will change for the whole family on the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednesday’s “normal” boyfriend and his parents.

Welcome to the Renaissance and the outrageous, crowd-pleasing musical farce, Something Rotten.  The show was lauded by audience members and critics alike, receiving several Best Musical nominations and hailed by Time Out New York as "the funniest musical comedy in at least 400 years".

Set in the 1590s, brothers Nick and Nigel Bottom are desperate to write a hit play but are stuck in the shadow of that Renaissance rock star known as "The Bard." When a local soothsayer foretells that the future of theatre involves singing, dancing and acting at the same time, Nick and Nigel set out to write the world’s very first musical. But amidst the scandalous excitement of opening night, the Bottom Brothers realize that reaching the top means being true to thine own self, and all that jazz.

Based on Disney's epic animated musical adventure and Edgar Rice Burrough's Tarzan of the Apes, Tarzan features heart-pumping music by rock legend, Phil Collins. High-flying excitement and hits, like the Academy Award winning "You'll Be in My Heart," as well as "Son of Man" and "Two Worlds," make Tarzan an unforgettable theatrical experience.

Washed up on the shores of West Africa, an infant boy is taken in and raised by gorillas who name him Tarzan. Apart from striving for acceptance from his ape father, Tarzan's life is mostly monkey business until a human expedition treks into his tribe's territory, and he encounters creatures like himself for the first time. Tarzan struggles to navigate a jungle, thick with emotion, as he discovers his animal upbringing clashing with his human instincts.

Head Over Heels is the bold new musical comedy from the visionaries that rocked Broadway with Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Avenue Q and Spring Awakening. This laugh-out-loud love story is set to the music of the iconic 1980’s all-female rock band The Go-Go’s, including the hit songs, “We Got the Beat,” “Our Lips Are Sealed,” “Vacation,” Belinda Carlisle’s “Heaven is a Place on Earth” and “Mad About You.”

Head Over Heels is the story of what happens when the royal court of Arcadia is threatened by the mystical Oracle of Delphi with the loss of its “Beat,” the divine power that ensures the kingdom’s prosperity. King Basilius, whose own title is at stake, forces the members of the royal family and court on a journey to the woods in an attempt to escape the Oracle’s seemingly unavoidable prophecies. Through a plot containing usurped kingship, unlikely lovers, and gender-fluid disguises, Head Over Heels preaches unconditional love and acceptance of yourself and everyone you know, no matter their gender or sexual identity, and uses some of the greatest pop rock hits of the late 20th century.
